Russian Club Hong Kong

 

Club’s History

The Russian Club in Hong Kong is a community of compatriots from the former USSR, as well as of like-minded people with interest in the Russian language and culture. The Club was founded in 1998 by a Russian actress Nelli Nielsen. Over 15-plus years since its establishment, the Russian Club in Hong Kong has organized numerous events to facilitate networking among the Russian-speaking community in Hong Kong and raise interest towards the Russian culture among residents of Hong Kong. The Russian Club is registered in Hong Kong as a non-profit society.

Club’s Objectives

— Assisting Russian-speaking compatriots in settling down in Hong Kong

— Representing the Russian culture among Hong Kong’s international environment

— Helping native Russian speakers in Hong Kong to preserve their cultural identity

The Russian Club pays special attention to child education and developing Russian language skills among our children.

    Current position - HR in executive search firm “Matthew Hoyle Financial Markets”

    Previous work experience - HR director in French gastronomic company in Moscow, HR generalist in Advertisement agency and Head of HR in one of the biggest mobile retail companies in Russia

    Moved to Hong Kong - July 2012

    Role in the Russian club - Philanthropy Chair / Vice President, Business Development & Event Management, since November 2013

    Hobbies - Art, travelling, sailing, scuba diving, skiing
